About Me:

Hi! I’m Sue but people call me Q. I am a mom/wife from Texas, who loves to read and wants to instill the love of reading in each of my children. Since I have children from ages 10-18, I read books for every age range. We read picture books, beginner chapter books, middle grade, YA, and adult books. We also read books from an eclectic range of genres as well.

This blog is a place for me to share bookish content. There will be reviews but also information on readathons I will be participating in, ideas for children’s books and activities, lists for certain topics, books TBRs, and much more. I am always wanting to track and share my reading with others and I thought this blog would be the perfect place. Follow me on Goodreads, Instagram, Litsy and Twitter.

Aside from reading, I enjoy learning, making lists, doodling, planning, crafts and hiking. I enjoy the occasional cooking and baking with my youngest daughter. I love spending time with my family. My children are my world.

I am the person who loves to go, go, go. I am almost always doing something. I have friends who tell me, “I don’t know how you do all that.” I am also the same friend that will not call for months on end. I can stay so busy and not be home and still not spend time with any of my friends, just my hubby and kiddos. I have to have time away from people to recharge. To long around others will send me into an emotion pit.

I love to read. It is one of my go to self care items. A good book and no one to interrupt. Who can relate to this? It is one of the things that can help me recharge after being at an event with other people. This is why I can still get so much reading done. I know only my book lovers will understand. My hubby thinks I’m crazy. He doesn’t understand how reading a book that makes me cry is so good for me and why I would then turn around and say that it is one of my favorite books ever.

That’s where you come in. Friends who love books just as much as I do and that can understand so many of my weird things. So, I do hope you’ll join me here with lots of comments for plenty of conversation about all the bookish things we love. I can’t wait to get to know you and discuss books with you!

I am always looking to learn and grow so feel free to leave tips, comments, ideas or suggestions along the way! Do you have a book suggestion? Do you want to tell me what you’re reading this week? Do you want to let me know what changes you think I should make? Know that I may not be able to do everything you suggest but your feedback is always welcome!
