TTT | Books I’ve Probably Never Mentioned Before

March 1, 2022

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

Books I have probably never mentioned on my blog.

I am going to list ten books that I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned before on this blog. I know there are no reviews on any of these books anyways.

These books are some that I really enjoyed but they were either before the blog or they somehow didn’t get a review. I am so glad I get to highlight some of the books that are great but don’t get mentioned enough, at least by me!

I will list them from Children’s chapter book and then YA and Adult.

Children’s Middle Grade

Wait Till Helen Comes by Mary Downing Hahn
I was probably about 16 when I first read this. I still really enjoyed it. It was one of my first ghost books that I can remember.

Esperanza Rising by Pam Munoz Ryan
So heart touching and definitely recommend to everyone. I read this as an adult a few years ago. I love the strength in character and determination.

Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis
A young boy on the hunt for his father. So good.

The House with a Clock in it’s Walls (Lewis Barnavelt series)by John Bellairs
I just realized this is a series. I guess I have to add them to my TBR.

YA/Adult

The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom
This is so thought-provoking. I loved it. It’s one of those books that you want to come back to time and again to reflect.

Parallel (Travelers Series) by Claudia Lefeve
I read the first two books. I love time travel books/alternate reality type books.

Dawn’s Prelude (Song of Alaska series)by Tracie Peterson
I think this is the only book of the series that I read. I did try to check out more from my local library years ago but they were always out.

The Ladies Maid (The Prairie Dreams Trilogy) by Susan Page Davis
I read this as a single book for the whole trilogy. It was a book I bought from Walmart forever ago. I don’t see it like that on Amazon. The trilogy as a whole was so good.

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer

Delilah by India Edghill

What are some books you would say you don’t mention enough but are worth sharing with the world? Feel free to leave your post link in the comments.

I always love to read your comments and discover new books. Thank you all for joining me in bookish conversation!

  1. I like reading books by Mary Downing Hahn. Some of her books I enjoy more then others. Sadly Wait Till Helen Comes was a disappointment for me.
