Book Reviews | Max by Ed Vere

Max the Brave by Ed Vere
🐹🐹🐹🐹 4/5

This is such a fun, silly book that you and your children will get a kick out of. Max the Brave is in search of Mouse. He doesn’t know what Mouse looks like. He comes across all kinds of animals along the way until he comes across Mouse. Or is it?

The pictures are pretty basis but they don’t make this story any less enjoyable. So have a laugh with Max the Brave.

Max at Night
🐹🐹 2.5/

This is all about Max trying to find the Moon before he goes to bed to tell Moon goodnight. Max goes out of his way to find Moon. When he finally does Moon tells him he could say goodnight at home and he would hear him.

This was alright but I preferred Max the Brave to this one. I just didn’t find it as enjoyable. Maybe if I was three I would have enjoyed it. I hope you like it more than me.

Max and Bird
🐹🐹🐹 3/5

Max wants to chase and eat Bird but Bird hasn’t even learned to fly. Bird tells Max he is too young and they make a deal that Max can chase and eat him if Max will teach Bird how to fly first. It takes weeks but Bird finally learns how to fly and he asks Max if he wants to eat him now. Max thinks long and hard and decides that is not what you do with friends.
