Dewey’s Readathon Wrap-up | April 2021

I had totally forgotten about this and realized the night before that it was here. I really wish I would have been more prepared. I had to work so that sucked otherwise I would have been reading the whole 24hrs, but I had to get some sleep for the long night ahead. Luckily, I have a job that enables me to audiobook it all night. There is a hr drive each way and then a 12 hr shift so I can squeeze in quite a bit of reading. So your probably wondering how much reading I actually got in.

On the way into work I listened to Gears, Grills, & Guns by Tonya Kappes. Which is number 13 in A Camper & Criminals Cozy Mysteries Series. This is one of my favorite cozy mystery series. I love that it’s set at a camp ground.

While I was at work, I was able to finish Southern Sass and a Battered Bride, which I really enjoyed.

Blueberry Love and Strawberry Love cookbooks. They were both great and I can’t wait to make some of these delicious looking recipes!

Wining & Dying was good.

I started Murder in the Cookbook Nook and ran out of time with 45% read.

Overall, I read 5.5 books. I think I am pretty happy about that. I don’t always read this many during a Dewey Readathon. There have been time I was only able to get through half a book.

I hope you all enjoyed your reading and feel like you accomplished something. I know I got a few of the ones on my TBR read, which makes me feel great!

I can’t wait to see you all again for the next Dewey Readathon.
