This would be a great book for children to help build self esteem. Make sure to discuss what your child or students dislike about themselves and help them think of ways those things can actually benefit them. Help them find ways to use those things for good or how they can be helpful in some way. Perhaps, have them do a journal entry on it. Remind your child to always look for the good in everything.
This book is a great tool for child to learn how to love themselves. With self esteem a big issue in children we can never have enough books like this one.
