A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman

This was a very so book that hinged on you relating to the main character Ove. Ove is a grumpy, bitter old man who is set in his ways and thinks others should agree with him and do things his way. Maybe you know someone like that.

While Ove is a complicated man to get along with, he is also one of the biggest hearted people you’ll meet. Everyone who comes in contact with him somehow finds a way to love him despite his grumpiness.

It tells of his life after his wife dies and how he never makes it around to being with her because something or someone always interrupts his suicide plans until he finally finds reasons to live again.

This is also a bit of a Monk vibe. Ove is a perfectionist and needs things done just so.
